Our knowledge and experience are supported by degrees in social work, health care, business, public administration, and law, including nearly 30 staff members with master’s or doctorate degrees.

Social worker and Medicare resource and referral specialist roles are examples of an MAAA employment opportunity with multiple staff positions. Social workers provide:
- Information and assistance on housing options and other supports to live independently
- Care transition support to individuals discharging from skilled nursing facilities
- Pre-admission screening services for individuals moving from the hospital or their home to a nursing facility
Medicare resource and referral specialists assist older adults and families with Medicare enrollment, state health insurance plans and other information and assistance needs.
Many of our positions are part of the Senior LinkAge Line®, a service MAAA delivers in partnership with the Minnesota Board on Aging.
