Nearly 40 Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging staff, volunteers, friends and family came together on Sept. 9 for the Twin Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The MAAA Changing Aging Team was one of more than 700 teams at the Walk. The MAAA team raised about $3,090. That was $1,000 more than our team’s initial goal. In total, the Twin Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s raised over $1.2 million.
Of the money raised, 79 percent will go to Alzheimer’s research, care, support, awareness and advocacy, with the remainder for administrative and fundraising costs.
Together we will end Alzheimer’s Disease!
