Moving Forward as Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging

June 12, 2026

Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging logo with icon.

You may have noticed a few changes around here.

Effective immediately, we will be moving forward under our original name, Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging (MAAA).

While our name is changing, our work and mission remain the same. We will continue supporting older adults and caregivers across the region through our strong community partnerships, services, funding and programs.

As we navigate this transition, our priority is to continue helping people thrive as we age by maintaining and strengthening the network of services older adults and caregivers rely on each day.

We’re grateful for our continued partnerships in the Twin Cities metro area, across Minnesota and beyond. Together, we are meeting the opportunities and challenges of a growing population of older adults. More updates will be shared in the weeks and months ahead.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about this change. Contact Andy Brown, vice president of communications and engagement: abrown@trellisconnects.org.
